Our Walt Disney Studios team works on titles that include a wide variety of blockbuster films distributed under the Walt Disney Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar Animation Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century, and Searchlight banners. Required/Basic Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence or Ad Tech Data/Media Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency with SQL, and the ability to extract and combine disparate data sources
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Basic understanding of ad technology ecosystem
  • Strong critically thinking and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively that meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment


Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred media/entertainment experience
  • Experience with digital ad platforms including DMPs, Google DoubleClick, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Innovid, LiveRamp and DSPs (Google DV360, Trade Desk, Verizon Media Group)
  • Experience with Databricks and AWS Cloud Services
  • Experience with large volume analytics technology (e.g. Spark)
  • Data engineering experience

Responsibilities include:

  • Help care for and enhance the world-class brands of The Walt Disney Studios by building relationships with new and established fans through digital paid media
  • Assist with the development and management of business intelligence solutions for the Disney Studios Media, Performance Marketing, and Marketing Science teams
  • Assist with the design and build of internal analytics platforms and tools with the Studio Tech team, media agency of record, and internal Marketing teams
  • Assist with data integrations and taxonomies to automate reporting
  • Elicit requirements from clients to build and maintain Tableau dashboards
  • Understand how to define business KPIs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Understand basic statistics and use SQL effectively to calculate summary statistics
  • Understand media technology landscape and internal technology ecosystem
  • Perform quality assurance checks and data cleanup to ensure precision of data ingestion across advertising platforms (e.g. Facebook, Google, DSPs)
  • Assist with day-to-day communication with media, agency, and technology teams
