We encourage you to apply if the below describes your experience and talents:


  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Marketing or Finance with some exposure to performance marketing, including social/programmatic buying platforms with a strong desire to learn more
  • Foundational understanding of the economics of auctions, optimization/operations research and marketing 
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant areas of business or social sciences (including economics, finance, marketing, psychology, cognitive science, sociology and statistics)
    • Preferred:  MBA or Master’s Degree in another closely related field, including Marketing or Business Analytics
  • Business acumen in addition to strong analytical and Excel skills
  • Proven creative problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to simplify complex analytics into clear recommendations that are easily understood and executable
  • Basic understanding of ad technology ecosystem
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively that meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to partner with others to handle multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment


Additional Preferred Qualifications


  • Preferred media/entertainment experience
  • Experience with managing or optimizing in digital ad platforms including DMPs, Google DoubleClick, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Innovid, LiveRamp and DSPs (Google DV360, Trade Desk, Verizon Media Group)
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Some limited experience using SQL and the desire to learn more

Responsibilities include:


  • Help care for and enhance the world-class brands of The Walt Disney Studios by building relationships with new and established fans through digital paid media
  • Partner with internal media team as well as agency to build cross channel performance marketing media strategy
  • Be a principal adviser on auction, audience, pacing optimizations across all Walt Disney Studios Theatrical campaigns which includes 20th Century, Pixar, Marvel, Lucas, Disney Animation and Disney Live Action
  • Manage day-to-day communication with media agency auction and internal Disney media teams
  • Contribute to the planning of complex media buys for performance marketing campaigns by offering strategic and tactical insights
  • Maintain and advance knowledge of media technology, buying platforms and analytics tools
  • Work with the Marketing Science team to update and field regular market research studies
  • Work with the Marketing Science team to use market research data to track consumer trends concerning major platforms and walled gardens
  • Analyze data sets to discover local trends and patterns during the flight of a campaign that can be exploited for better performance
  • Work with the Marketing Science team to uncover recurring or persistent trends and patterns; maintain and use knowledge of these trends and patterns to unlock value with improved media buys
  • Design and execute A/B tests, and develop strategic recommendations with a goal of improving performance
  • Undertake simple financial analysis to value the impact of events and changes to media buys
  • Interpret, analyze and report results from data testing and performance marketing campaigns in partnership with Marketing Science and Media Agency Analytics teams
  • Assist Marketing Science team with ad hoc projects as needed
  • Identify additional growth and innovation opportunities in platforms
