Qualifications

  • Must have strong knowledge of paid search (Google, Bing, YouTube) and social (Twitter, Snapchat and TikTok) landscape, platforms and best practices
  • Collaborative nature and experience with media owners, agency business units, and creative agency partners
  • Comfort level with data, analytics and measurement, and various data sources and methodologies
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles of marketing/advertising, understanding of media concepts and creative requirements 
  • Minimum combined 3 years of Paid Search and/or Social experience with client-facing responsibilities
  • Experience managing and mentoring at least one team member, providing thought leadership to junior team members
  • Experience with direct-response campaigns, in-app campaigns a plus
  • Prior agency experience is a plus

Responsibilities

The Search and Social Supervisor leads the day-to-day management of performance-driven initiatives. The Supervisor plays a key role in the translation of marketing and media objectives into Search and Social approach as well as oversees reporting and optimizations. To be successful, the Supervisor must be organized, strategic, a trainer, a team player, and an initiator.

  

Strategy 

  • Develop recommendations based on media and marketing objectives, referencing historical data to develop spend and performance projections
  • Ensure strategy and approach is integrated with other media
  • Evaluate new ad and targeting products to advance Search/Social approach

Execution Management

  • Oversee implementation of Search and Social media plans
  • Check for accuracy, timeliness and quality of launches, optimizations and tests
  • Monitor overall budget pacing and progress towards KPI’s
  • Coordinate with team members to prioritize planned and ad hoc deliverables
  • Help lead status calls with partners
  • Key contact for clients, ensuring prompt and clear responses to client questions and requests
  • Build, or assist in crafting, POV’s on technologies, platforms, best practices and creative opportunities 
  • Help refine internal processes to improve workflow and train new team members

Reporting & Insights

  • Provide clear and concise highlights and actionable insights
  • Uncover new targeting/bidding opportunities to buy more efficiently and better understand the outcomes we drive for clients
  • Maintain accuracy of reporting
