Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in technical program management on security or software engineering programs
  • 4+ years of security experience in vulnerability management, incident management, security assessments
  • Experience with security research, bug bounty programs and/or vulnerability remediation
  • Over communicator - functioning as the main point of contact for all technical teams, great communication in various forms to different stakeholders is critical; has the knowledge and expertise in managing an organization wide information security program
  • Rigorous planner and organizer - can keep team members on task and in check and prioritize tasks as the project progresses, leading multiple teams through the entire lifecycle of the project
  • Passionate about documentation - documenting any progress made across all working components of the project, creating reports and systems to achieve the deliveries
  • Empathetic team player - experience working cross-functionally with engineering and leadership teams like Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and Security

Responsibilities

Annalect is currently seeking a security program manager to join our technology team remotely. In this role you will manage security programs, defining milestones and success criteria of security measures, creating cross-team mandates and monitoring security compliance across the Annalect Tech team. You will be responsible creating documentation and planning for network security, application security, data security and vulnerability management. In this role you will be interacting externally with clients and non-technical stakeholders to deliver information about the state of security within our code, software products and infrastructure, as well as internally with the teams to achieve security compliance and certification.  

  • Manage security programs across the teams; scale security engineering programs by defining milestones and success criteria
  • Work with teams to catch vulnerabilities and put in place security systems to ensure secure systems. Coordinate between a multitude of cross functional teams and set clear expectations about responsibilities to internal and external customers from security perspective; ensure implementation of security mandates by multiple teams
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to share and explain Annalect security policies; communicate the current state of security at Annalect
  • Set and document new and existing security compliance policies
  • Manage documentation repository and surface it to the organization in easy-to-digest pieces
