OMG Research is seeking to hire a creative and motivated Director of Research Analytics within the Primary Research team who will be responsible for working with team members in designing and executing primary research from project inception through analysis and presentation. This person will work on research for current clients, new business, and Agency thought leadership initiatives.
This role requires an extensive background in mathematics and statistical analysis, and a good understanding of the types of questions that will feed into the various modeling techniques that will be utilized during the analysis of the research. This individual will be leading the development of insights and implications to tell compelling stories in different presentation formats along with leading and conducting the analyses to derive the insights. Selecting appropriate research methodologies and supporting techniques to meet business objectives is a key part of the role.
Innately curious with a passion for understanding consumer trends and iterative processes to derive insights using statistics and modeling, the Director will help clients/client teams to crystallize research objectives and develop appropriate research designs shared through formal proposals, will develop research instruments (e.g., discussion/interview guides, questionnaires, analysis plans, RFP's, proposals, project timelines) and will work closely with vendors and internal project team members to ensure the successful execution of the research. The person in this role should be well-versed in the research process which includes research (and sample) design, overseeing project fieldwork, reviewing the collected data, authoring reports, and making business-oriented recommendations to the sponsoring client.
