Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • At least 1-2 years in a similar, reporting delivery and support based role
  • 1-2 years’ experience in digital and campaign reporting
  • Ability to work in an agile manner in a rapidly changing requirements environment
  • Global and cross-functional team and partnership experience in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Familiarity with BI technologies such as Datorama, Google Data studio, Looker, Tableau, and Alteryx
  • Analytical mind with problem solving capabilities and aptitude
  • Familiarity or exposure to marketing and ad technology data
  • Excellent communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background
  • Analytical, evaluative, and likes to solve problems
  • Experience with ad technology product development is a huge plus

Responsibilities

With the introduction of Omni as Omnicom’s marketing insights and data platform, the holding company is centralizing its capabilities around provisioning data to the organization to make better, faster, and smarter decisions about their clients’ campaigns. The Marketing Intelligence function has been created to lead the charge in this regard, including development of new campaign reporting solutions, and leading the migration of campaign reporting to be delivered through Omni. This position is accountable for supporting Omnicom’s campaign reporting capability and helping to deliver the transition of campaign reporting through Omni. The role will work, alongside more senior Marketing Intelligence staff, in support of the agency leads to ensure success.

  • Deliver on campaign and marketing intelligence reporting deliverables while acting as a champion of data quality, including:
  • Generating reports and manipulating reporting data, as needed
  • Quality Assurance of data and reports
  • Create and assist with documentation
  • Support the Campaign Reporting Capability Development process, including owning or assisting with governance of taxonomy and tracking guidelines
  • Support media, website, and cross-agency data aggregations as well as building and maintaining data automation systems (i.e., Datorama, AWS, and Tableau)
  • Support the organization in marketing intelligence capabilities, including data visualization; campaign dashboarding, reporting, and data services

Areas the incumbent will support within Marketing Intelligence include:

  • Data Management & Technical Development – automate, cleanse, harmonize, and visualize campaign performance data for various users – both internal and external
  • QA & Governance – ensure the highest quality and accuracy of data to empower business decisions
  • Project Management – organizational skills, note taking experience, and the ability to think several steps ahead on any given project
  • Taxonomy & Naming Conventions – define standard taxonomy best practices and roll out client or account naming conventions
  • Account Support – expert client specific advice and guidance, access to flex support where required and aligned
  • Best Practices & Training – create and disseminate best practices related to all of the above for standardization and time savings
