The Global Data & Tech Operations team is a center of excellence to provide on exceptional, trustworthy delivery of all aspects of advertising globally, unlocking the data needed to optimize our performance and maintain reputation. We believe media operations needs to advance beyond tactical trafficking to a strategic imperative focused on distributing our brands safely, respecting our consumers privacy, and capitalizing on complex auction markets, all whilst fully supporting our technological, tactical, and financial operations.

 

The Senior Director role is accountable for leading the global data and technology operations function for a large global Omnicom Media Group client, in partnership with regional/local OMG agency teams. This role will work with clients and OMG agency leadership to establish and maintain global media operations policies, governance practices and accountability structure to deliver high quality and high performing media as proven through clear and structured accountability frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of our industry and how technology & data will benefit our clients
  • Ability to work in an agile manner in a rapidly changing requirements environment
  • Proven track record of aggressively driving innovation
  • Global and cross-functional team management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Analytical mind with problem solving capabilities and aptitude
  • Deep understanding of marketing/ad technology data and relationship to marketing processes
  • Excellent communications skills, with experience communicating across groups with varying degrees of technical background
  • Analytical, evaluative, and likes to solve problems
  • Experience with ad technology product development is a huge plus
  • At least 8+ years of relevant experience in media and agency environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global data & tech operations team in creating and delivering on the vision of the media ops organization
  • Lead the team to drive rapid development of processes, standards, and innovative solutions
  • Serve as the client lead for direct feedback, escalation, and requests
  • Act as partner and leader across global/regional/local market team leadership groups to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and feedback channels
  • Accountable for defining and managing technology-driven processes that enable efficient resource and time management to drive effective and efficient media buying & management, globally
  • Drive and share the vision for ad/mar tech evolution for the client brands, globally
  • Provide expertise across data sources to drive development of governance solutions (processes, technologies, etc.) to ensure visibility to goals and requirements across reputation, brand, financial, efficiency and execution requirements
  • As a manager: inspire, train and guide direct and indirect reports
